  • Meet Natalya Sorlien

(owner and operator of this popsicle stand)

Therapy is for everyone and not every therapist is for everyone! As we drink tea and share our stories, or express our elation over alternative hot or cold beverages, we connect. Currently, I am licensed in North Carolina (PLLC in NC) and Maine as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a doctoral candidate within a Ph.D. program specializing in working with Military families with my dissertation focused on attachment and routines. I have experience in working with all ages, notably teenagers, depression, anxiety, couple, and families. I fully believe in everything being figurable, and if not figurable, referable.

The picture to the right is of me sitting in a tea shop in Paris about six years ago, one which, unfortunately, no longer exists.

    More About Me

Being a military spouse for over a decade, a student, and a collaborator and lover of all things unique I have the privilege of sharing the journey together. Furthermore, if we are not able to address what brings us to therapy in English, I speak Russian, rudimentary Ukrainian, mediocre Italian, and well versed in Psychobabble. So well versed that I am a member of the Psi Chi honor society for Psychology (along with being a previous secretary of said society) and a member of the Delta Kappa International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society.
